I recently moved to the North Providence area and started having some car issues. After a quick Google search and seeing all the great reviews, I decided to give RM Auto Care a try, and I’m really glad I did. Steven made it super easy to get an appointment and walked me through how everything worked. I especially liked their inspection system because you can actually see what they found, what they recommend, and then decide what you’re comfortable getting done at that time. There was no pressure to do everything at once, which I really appreciated. I also got a chance to work with Lexi, who was great and explained the different financing options available, giving me a little more flexibility with the repairs. They were able to get quite a bit done the same day, and overall the experience was just easy and straightforward. Definitely recommend RM Auto Care! Huge shoutout to Steven and Lexi for being so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back!

I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here. I brought my 2016 Mercedes-Benz GL450 in for one reason only to diagnose why the A/C was blowing hot air. Before bringing it in, my vehicle was not overheating and had no coolant leak. After I picked up my vehicle, it suddenly developed a coolant leak and is no longer running properly. Something may have been damaged or cracked while it was in the shop. Now I have a much bigger problem than when I dropped it off. I am extremely disappointed with the work performed by technician and the condition my vehicle was returned in. I trusted this shop to diagnose an A/C issue, but instead I left with a vehicle that has a serious leak and is undrivable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here. I encourage anyone considering this shop to be cautious and thoroughly inspect their vehicle before and after any work is performed.

The girl that works in the office tried to rip me off on non oem parts, I drive a Dodge Ram, the girl quoted me over 500 dollars just for the broken clock spring part and it wasn't even OEM, when I informed her that I found the OEM part at Mopar for a little over 300 she said that she could drop the price of her part to 383 lol but i was not allowed to purchase parts for them and that they can't order parts from mopar. That's how I know they were trying to rip me off. Who drops the price of a part almost 200 dollars when called out on it? I let them replace my broken clock spring and my fuel pump so I could pass inspection and only because of that reason. Total bill for a fuel pump and broken clock spring was 2,000 dollars. I asked them since I let them do the work could they wave the 300 inspection fee and she said no because it was a level 2 inspection they did on my vehicle for a broken clock spring and fuel pump lol. I was gonna let them do my front end suspension and rear suspension as well but this experience has left a bad taste and I don't wanna deal with a shop that tries to be a middle man for parts and overcharging for parts. For me to pay 2,000 dollars and still have to pay the 300 dollar inspection was a slap in the face. Work was good and have had no issues with my truck.

Start to finish great service. Lexi helped set me up with an appointment in no time, and explained the process to put me at ease. The online system with text confirmation and links to view the technician’s work was amazing. I loved seeing what was recommended and have a game plan that worked for my budget. Exceptional. I look forward to having a trustworthy team take care of my car in the future.

Have been in RI for 4 years now and I have not found a better shop. Professional, proficient, and trustworthy. I cannot recommend this place enough. Steve and Lexi are always welcoming, they make everything smooth and easy. The technicians are some of the best! If you are looking for a new shop or are dissatisfied with price/timeline/trustworthiness/etc, you should go to RM.

Im a machanic so taken my vehicle to a shop never happens. But I was on a road trip with my family when our vehicle started having an electrical issues I had nothing with me other then my scanner so I scanned the vehicle and knew It was not going to be an easy fix. After checking around and speaking with some locals they all recommend RM AUTO CARE. So I called they told me they where booked out but to bring my vehicle to them and they would do there best to get it me in. As soon as I walked in the door the customer service was amazing. Iv worked in alot of shops and never seen service advisors that actually genuinely seem to injoy there jobs but here was different, everyone had a smile and was very polite. And seem to really care about their customers. They were able to get my vehicle in and gave me a full D. V. I on my vehicle. They didn't try to upsell me or charge me for something that I didn't need. They were very honest about the repair that needed to be done. And had great pricing. I believe the young woman I got to deal with at the front desks name was lexi.She was very polite and any questions i had if she could not answer it she made sure to get the info from the tech and staied in contact with me throw the hole process.Great, great place would highly recommend. I wish there was more shops around my area that we're like this. They even reached out a few days after I picked my vehicle up just to make sure everything was OK and that we where able to finish our road trip and made it home with no further issues.

To be honest is one of the best shops I've been to up there on vacation vehicle left me stranded I was able to get it towed in and they was able to diagnose the vehicle for me figure out what happened and get me back on my way Craig was very reasonable with the pricing of the repair other shops were going to try and charge me an arm and a leg

Well they're certainly nice enough. They rip you off with a smile. I love how they see a woman and think they can throw anything in there that you don't need for an inspection. Ironic how once you sign the text disappears. The only reason I took my car there is because my mechanic no longer does RI inspections due to being located in Seekonk. Asked my mechanic how much he would've charged for sway bar links. Literally almost half. If you want nice people go here. If you want honest people go elsewhere.

Amazing service and quality work!!! Very quick and professional

I came in for a state inspection and had a few paperwork issues to sort out. On top of that, my vehicle needed a major repair before it could pass. The team was incredibly helpful, patient, and willing to work with me through the entire process. They completed the repair in less than 24 hours, which was much faster than I expected. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and professional from start to finish. They even made me a cup of tea while I waited, which was such a thoughtful touch. This was honestly the best experience I've ever had at an auto shop. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning for future service.

WHAT A JOKE!!!! Do not bring your European car to this place. Guy I spoke to acted like he knew all about my car. Even the mechanic didn't know. He knew nothing!!! Beware!!! Why make an appointment for something you aren't capable of fixing???
