They took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and treated me with respect the whole way through. It's rare to find an auto shop where the team is this personable and down to earth. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, not just the repairs. Disrespectful and unprofessional there as well thinks they are better then other people as well as outrageously over charging customer for parts and repairs to cars 1000$ they teeid saying for a thermostat and a supernatural belt when in reality it really only cost 30$ dallor each for them both

Old guy at front desk is very unwelcoming. Had gone before and young lady real nice but old guy was rude and unwelcoming! I had broke a sensor for coolant temperature when replacing my spark plugs, so I went in to get it replaced. Stop by and was not greeted or even ask how he could help, he just look at me wired and stay silent . So i just explained my situation. Was told by the guy that they would charge a diagnostic fee of 174$ before even looking at car. Then he told me that I would have to pay diagnostics fee , plus part fee, plus fee to install. And on top of that he changed the diagnostic fee from 174$ to 194$. I told him no thanks and he never offered any solution or even assured me that it was worth it! I left and drove to a competitor and they took time to look at the issue and set up appointment and got the job done may pay a little bit more, but at least I felt like I was a valued customer.

I had just bought a good used car and wanted a mechanic I could trust and was friendly not to mention knows his and her job well…I seen RM Auto. On social media advertising and I got a real good feeling about this place…..so I don’t live far from there and decided to go in and talk to them and let them know I was looking for a good mechanic I could take my car to whenever it needs something so I took it there for an oil change and they went over the car for me… they are very personable and professional…so now that’s where I will take my car for everything and anything it may need!! Last experience with RM auto was horrible. I dropped my car off at 11am for an inspection that was spouse to take 45 minutes. My car ends up not being ready till 3 hrs later. They leave notes on my $55 dollar inspection receipt that I don’t pass because I don’t have registration and some part that has to be replaced that I never heard of; that would cost nearly 7 thousand dollars to fix. My registration was in the glove department and they take much longer, even when you make an appointment. I definitely will not be returning. Ps they are sloppy with putting inspection stickers on windshields.

I recently moved to the North Providence area and started having some car issues. After a quick Google search and seeing all the great reviews, I decided to give RM Auto Care a try, and I’m really glad I did. Steven made it super easy to get an appointment and walked me through how everything worked. I especially liked their inspection system because you can actually see what they found, what they recommend, and then decide what you’re comfortable getting done at that time. There was no pressure to do everything at once, which I really appreciated. I also got a chance to work with Lexi, who was great and explained the different financing options available, giving me a little more flexibility with the repairs. They were able to get quite a bit done the same day, and overall the experience was just easy and straightforward. Definitely recommend RM Auto Care! Huge shoutout to Steven and Lexi for being so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back!

I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here. I brought my 2016 Mercedes-Benz GL450 in for one reason only to diagnose why the A/C was blowing hot air. Before bringing it in, my vehicle was not overheating and had no coolant leak. After I picked up my vehicle, it suddenly developed a coolant leak and is no longer running properly. Something may have been damaged or cracked while it was in the shop. Now I have a much bigger problem than when I dropped it off. I am extremely disappointed with the work performed by technician and the condition my vehicle was returned in. I trusted this shop to diagnose an A/C issue, but instead I left with a vehicle that has a serious leak and is undrivable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here. I encourage anyone considering this shop to be cautious and thoroughly inspect their vehicle before and after any work is performed.

The girl that works in the office tried to rip me off on non oem parts, I drive a Dodge Ram, the girl quoted me over 500 dollars just for the broken clock spring part and it wasn't even OEM, when I informed her that I found the OEM part at Mopar for a little over 300 she said that she could drop the price of her part to 383 lol but i was not allowed to purchase parts for them and that they can't order parts from mopar. That's how I know they were trying to rip me off. Who drops the price of a part almost 200 dollars when called out on it? I let them replace my broken clock spring and my fuel pump so I could pass inspection and only because of that reason. Total bill for a fuel pump and broken clock spring was 2,000 dollars. I asked them since I let them do the work could they wave the 300 inspection fee and she said no because it was a level 2 inspection they did on my vehicle for a broken clock spring and fuel pump lol. I was gonna let them do my front end suspension and rear suspension as well but this experience has left a bad taste and I don't wanna deal with a shop that tries to be a middle man for parts and overcharging for parts. For me to pay 2,000 dollars and still have to pay the 300 dollar inspection was a slap in the face. Work was good and have had no issues with my truck.

Start to finish great service. Lexi helped set me up with an appointment in no time, and explained the process to put me at ease. The online system with text confirmation and links to view the technician’s work was amazing. I loved seeing what was recommended and have a game plan that worked for my budget. Exceptional. I look forward to having a trustworthy team take care of my car in the future.

Have been in RI for 4 years now and I have not found a better shop. Professional, proficient, and trustworthy. I cannot recommend this place enough. Steve and Lexi are always welcoming, they make everything smooth and easy. The technicians are some of the best! If you are looking for a new shop or are dissatisfied with price/timeline/trustworthiness/etc, you should go to RM.

Im a machanic so taken my vehicle to a shop never happens. But I was on a road trip with my family when our vehicle started having an electrical issues I had nothing with me other then my scanner so I scanned the vehicle and knew It was not going to be an easy fix. After checking around and speaking with some locals they all recommend RM AUTO CARE. So I called they told me they where booked out but to bring my vehicle to them and they would do there best to get it me in. As soon as I walked in the door the customer service was amazing. Iv worked in alot of shops and never seen service advisors that actually genuinely seem to injoy there jobs but here was different, everyone had a smile and was very polite. And seem to really care about their customers. They were able to get my vehicle in and gave me a full D. V. I on my vehicle. They didn't try to upsell me or charge me for something that I didn't need. They were very honest about the repair that needed to be done. And had great pricing. I believe the young woman I got to deal with at the front desks name was lexi.She was very polite and any questions i had if she could not answer it she made sure to get the info from the tech and staied in contact with me throw the hole process.Great, great place would highly recommend. I wish there was more shops around my area that we're like this. They even reached out a few days after I picked my vehicle up just to make sure everything was OK and that we where able to finish our road trip and made it home with no further issues.
